Anthony Durante, Sales Manager

Anthony graduated St. Johns University in 2000 with a degree in Business Management.  He worked as a Sales Manager at Durante Equipment and helped build to a $20+ million dollar company.  Durante Equipment was sold in 2000 and Anthony started Gotham Equipment Sales in 2001 and grew revenue to over $2.5MM.

At Gotham Equipment Sales, Anthony developed an equipment sales strategy which resulted in being awarded an EBay Power Seller.  In September 2009, along with John Durante and Christopher Jones, the trio decided to create Durante Rentals to build upon his success and to take advantage of what he saw as an opportunity in the marketplace filled with large conglomerate companies that have lost the personal touch that he grew up with in the business.

In June of 2010, in recognition of his accomplishments at Durante Rentals, Anthony was awarded the Westchester Rising Stars 40 Under 40 award.

John Durante, President

John graduated Iona College in 1996 with a Business Administration degree, upon which he took over the management of Durante Equipment Corp., which he doubled revenue in the time he was managing the company and was pivotal in the sale of Durante Equipment to United Rentals in 2000.  In 2007 John graduated Cum Laude from Pace Law School and was subsequently admitted to the bar in NY and CT.

John founded Durante Equities in 1998, a real estate firm managing several million dollars worth of commercial and residential properties in Westchester.  In 2003, John became the youngest recipient of the esteemed Ellis Island Medal of Honor. In 2006 John was awarded the prestigious Westchester County 40 Under 40 award, John is Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Trump Tower at City Center and was  appointed by the Mayor of White Plains to sit on the White Plains Planning Board.  John is President of the Board of Directors of The Circle of Life Camp, a not for profit camp for children with diabetes.

Christopher Jones, CFO

Christopher graduated from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) in 1990 with Business Administration & Accounting.  In 1991, Christopher started Progressive Solutions, Inc. an Accounting and Consulting firm in Princeton, NJ in 1991 which specialized in helping start-ups and distressed companies.  Christopher was a consulting CFO on over 30 start-ups and turnarounds, the company serviced over 100 small businesses with accounting services in the Tri-state area.  Christopher moved his company from Princeton to New York City in 1994 and later opened another office in White Plains in 2005.  Christopher sold his company in 2007 to a business services company in Long Island

Christopher met John Durante when he received the 2006 Westchester Rising Stars - 40 Under 40 - Award.  Christopher and John formed the Steering Committee for the Rising Stars and they also serve on the Rising Stars Selection Committee together.

Christopher serves as a Board Member of TCNJ Deans Council on New Initiatives, Board Member of Westchester Community College Professional Development Center, Instructor for Academy of Entrepreneurial Excellence, was the recipient of 2007 Westchester SCORE Success Story, and has been a featured speaker at for many different business organizations and colleges including NYU’s Stern Business School.  Chris, a competitive athlete holds a 2nd degree Brown Belt in Judo.
